Supplying the GCC
The GCC is the most demanding abaya market in the world, and the most informed. Customers here know fabric by handle, recognise a cut that has been copied badly, and can tell the difference between a garment that was finished properly and one that was rushed. A supplier who can sell into the Gulf can sell anywhere.
That raises what a buyer needs from a manufacturer. Saudi crêpe and premium nida carry the occasion market, finish quality is scrutinised at the seam rather than at the silhouette, and a design that reads as last season will sit unsold regardless of price. Being in the UAE ourselves, we are buying trims from the same market our Gulf customers shop in, which shortens the distance between a reference and a real garment considerably.
Being inside the region also removes the longest part of most supply chains — but our published figure is the same everywhere, 10–15 days worldwide, because that is the number in our fact sheet and we would rather state one figure we can hold to than a faster one we cannot.
Intra-GCC movement of goods has its own arrangements, and they are the buyer's to handle. We do not quote duty or tax rates. Each country page links to the official customs authority, and we will give you a landed-cost quote.
