    We built NAH Maison around a single conviction — that the abaya, properly made, is one of the most important garments in modern fashion. It deserves the cloth, the cut, and the care that the world's most established houses reserve for their most considered pieces.

    Our atelier sits in a quiet corner of Dubai. Every piece is hand-cut, hand-finished, and inspected three times before it leaves the box. We do not produce in seasons — we produce in chapters. A NAH abaya bought today should be wearable in twenty years, and frequently is.

    What sets a luxury abaya apart

    Three things separate a true luxury abaya from a costume

    It is easy to make an abaya. It is difficult to make a luxury abaya. The difference is measured in three places — the cloth, the finishing, and the proportion.

    • ◆Cloth. Saudi crêpe with a matte hand. Italian silk crêpe from the mills of Como. Hand-loomed cotton for the desert summer. Synthetic shortcuts read as synthetic, always.
    • ◆Finishing. French seams. Hems folded twice and sewn invisibly. Embroideries placed by hand, never printed. A single hidden hook honouring the front line of the abaya.
    • ◆Proportion. The shoulder must sit. The sleeve must fall in line with the wrist bone. The hem must graze the floor without pooling. These rules cannot be automated.
